Building Relationships and Exploring Opportunities to Support the Defense Mission
Saitech Inc. had a fantastic experience exhibiting at the U.S. Navy Gold Coast Small Business Procurement Event, hosted by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
The event brought together small businesses, U.S. Navy representatives, government agencies, and leading defense prime contractors, creating valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and explore ways industry partners can contribute to the evolving technology needs of the Department of Defense.
Connecting with the U.S. Navy and Defense Community
One of the most valuable aspects of Navy Gold Coast was the opportunity to hear directly from U.S. Navy senior leadership and Small Business professionals about upcoming opportunities, procurement priorities, and the important role small businesses play in strengthening the nation’s defense industrial base.
The Saitech team also participated in matchmaking sessions and conversations with representatives from government organizations and major defense contractors. These discussions provided valuable insight into current and emerging requirements while helping establish relationships that can support future collaboration.
Throughout the event, our team appreciated the opportunity to engage with leaders and representatives from organizations including Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, SAIC, General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, among many others.
Supporting the Mission Through Connection and Collaboration
A particularly meaningful part of Navy Gold Coast was witnessing the “Twice a Citizen” awards, recognizing Navy personnel for their service and continued commitment to the nation. The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that behind every technology initiative, contract, and mission are dedicated people working to support and protect our country.
For Saitech, the event was about much more than exhibiting. It was an opportunity to better understand the mission, build meaningful relationships, learn about evolving requirements, and identify ways small businesses can contribute innovative technology capabilities to the U.S. Navy and Department of Defense.
