Gigabyte Unveils Blade Servers for Performance and Sustainability

The evolution of data centers is being shaped by three major forces: the demand for higher compute density, the rise of AI and high-performance workloads, and the global push for greener IT. Gigabyte, a long-standing leader in enterprise server solutions, is addressing all three with its latest generation of blade servers.

High-Density Multi-Node Systems

One highlight of Gigabyte’s announcement is a set of multi-node platforms that deliver maximum compute power in minimal space. The B363 series, showcased at COMPUTEX 2025, offers a 3U chassis that supports 10 single-socket nodes, each compatible with AMD EPYC 4005, Ryzen 9000, or Intel Xeon 6300 processors. Shared chassis and power resources help reduce costs, while dual 1GbE NICs and OCP NIC 3.0 simplify networking. These systems allow enterprises to run large-scale workloads while keeping rack space and infrastructure expenses under control, making them well-suited for hosting, virtualization, and dense compute applications.

Integrated Liquid Cooling

Gigabyte is also pushing cooling innovation forward. The B683 series introduces a 6U liquid-cooled design with 10 nodes, built with an integrated liquid manifold that removes the need for external plumbing. This approach delivers more reliable and efficient thermal management for CPUs and memory modules, particularly beneficial for AI training, machine learning, and HPC tasks that generate significant heat. By simplifying liquid cooling, Gigabyte is making it easier for organizations to adopt advanced thermal solutions without overhauling their data center infrastructure.

Commitment to Sustainability

Beyond density and performance, Gigabyte is making sustainability a core design principle. Certain blade models now incorporate recycled, low-carbon materials into chassis, heatsinks, and airflow components. According to the company, these changes can cut carbon emissions of selected parts by as much as 95%. For enterprises and cloud providers under pressure to reduce their environmental footprint, this approach provides a path to combine powerful computing with responsible design.

Why These Innovations Stand Out

With these new blade systems, Gigabyte is aligning its product strategy with the future of enterprise computing:

  • Density: Maximizing compute power per rack unit to support growing workloads.
  • Cooling: Delivering advanced thermal solutions for high-TDP processors.
  • Sustainability: Reducing environmental impact without compromising performance.

For IT leaders planning next-generation data centers, Gigabyte’s B363 and B683 series, alongside its sustainability-focused models, offer a combination of efficiency, power, and eco-consciousness. Whether the priority is hosting dense workloads, scaling AI infrastructure, or meeting green IT goals, these servers are positioned to deliver.
